What is Coolifting Treatment?
A Coolifting Treatment is a safe, and painless procedure that combines a powerful blast of CO2 (carbon dioxide), at a low temperature and high pressure, and a high concentration of atomized actives.
The secret to the Coolifting Treatment is microcirculation, which is achieved when the CO2 hits the dermis layer (top layer of the skin). This reaction induces collagen and elastin formation and increases the tissue oxygenation. Collagen and elastin are the body’s natural proteins which keep our skin looking youthful and supple.
As we age, our body produces less of these proteins, so the Coolifting Treatment essentially triggers our body to produce these natural proteins to make up for what has been lost due to age.
How does CooLifting work?
The Coolifting gun pushes into the facial tissues a powerful CO2 flow. At a very low temperature and a very high pressure which is combined with a high concentration of atomized active ingredients.
The cold CO2 flow and the atomized actives combined with the high application pressure, causes:
- Paradoxical vessel-motricity: blood vessels constrictions followed by blood vessels dilatations of the blood micro-circulation. By suffering a strong cold stimulus, the blood vessels alternatively constrict and expand to counter it.
